We have meet the principal people on New Krypton who will help Kal-El. There is so much more to learn about them. Keep reading and I hope some of you will drop a comment. This is the best way for me to know what you as the reader think of the story.

So place comments here please.

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

I love this bit of family reunion here. There's so much more depth to life on New Krypton if Clark isn't the sole survivor of his house.

Exactly. Having a larger family, friends and acquaintances bound together with a familiar plot from the series makes it easier on the reader. Clark will not feel like so much of an outsider. Besides each member gives Kal-El a little bit of help adjusting to life on New Krypton.

This was a very interesting chapter. It’s good that Clark has family on New Krypton. His uncle and aunt will help guide him. The support should be invaluable. It’s too bad that Zor-El isn’t in good health.

Thanks for another great chapter! I love this story!

Without sounding mysterious, Zor-El's health and genetics plays into the story....

He had so many questions to ask the enigmatic head of El House and was intrigued to finally have a chance to sit down with his father’s brother.
This is such a close connection to his dad!

Quote
As they drew closer, the resemblance of Abondar-El to a Tuscan villa became stronger.
The Tuscan element is such a great aesthetic held against the red city you've described.

The sight of a garden filled with vegetables and flowers caused Clark to relax.
This is a great touch, this reminder of Smallville.

At Green Station #3 checking on a particular Kryptonian vegetable that she, Dar-Ur and a team of cultivators are coaxing from our old world samples to adapt to this planet’s soil.
This is another great touch that his family also has an agricultural background.

His aunt explained that with the change of light, the paintings shifted colors depicting different times of the day.
So cool! It's nice, too, that the appreciation of the pastoral continues inside the house.

Meeting his Uncle Zor-El for the first time was like staring into a prism showing fragments of the past, present and unglimpsed future.
This is such great phrasing.

Quote
With a start he suddenly realized that this was the first time he could ask a living Kryptonian such a question.
That's such a poignant moment!

Quote
Zor-El answered with a smile very much like Clark’s own.
This is sweet, too. It would be such an amazing moment for Clark to see his family connection.

Quote
His uncle reminded him of Perry White, Jonathan Kent and in some ways due to Zor-El’s vast scientific knowledge and all-consuming curiosity, Dr. Bernie Klein.
This is such an incredible combination!

“The life of Clark Kent and his beautiful fiancée, Lois Lane would continue without interference from me.
There's something really caring and powerful about him using Lois' name here.

"I was training Kara to take my place and make no mistake; she is perfectly capable of accepting the challenge and would govern this planet with compassion tempered by knowledge. I was making certain that key men would accept her as the first woman ruler of New Krypton.”
Yay! I love this plan! clap

Thinking of Lex Luthor, Clark said bitterly, “We have many people like that on Earth as well.”
Such a great allusion here, to liken Nor to Lex.

Quote
“Sadly, whenever there is great change, resistance rears its head, some of it was with good reason, while others not so much. Members of the nobility did not like the fact that women and those of lesser ranks were gaining a greater say in government. They wanted to go back to the old ways.”
This is so topical now. It's sad that something we consider so outmoded when we read a story is becoming a prevalent attitude in the real world.

Quote
Nor is a throwback to the days when our world was run by warlords and everyone else existed only by their pleasure.
This is so aptly put!

Only a blind man could ignore the fact that Zor-El was dying.
So sad that he found Zor-El now, only to be losing him again!

I love Tuscany! One of these days I'm going to get there.
