The last time I read a snowball fight between Lois and Clark was in Virginia’s Green-Eyed Monster, I think. It did not end up well for Lois. Then, Clark was in big doodoo.

It is a lovely song. I was a bit hesitant to put that in but it is fanon that Clark can't sing and I wanted it lighthearted and funny, so I left it in.

# Dec. 11th AmandaK making pastry from scratch is the best part! I've never made mince pies but I've made plenty of pumpkin and apple and there is something oh so satisfying when the pastry rolls out just right (and so frustrating when it tears that you want to throw the whole mess at the wall! 😆)
Yeah, I love working in the kitchen, it is nice to see when the things you create work out. If they don't look perfect I always tell our patients (I work as a nutritionist in a clinic) to tell everyone who is dissatisfied "This is how it has to be, it is homemade!" 😅
Songbird I didn't know christmas crackers before, but I think we had a similar tradition for new years eve, when I was little.
bakasi Well, Lois has Clark next to her, I do believe that she can cook, from what is shown in the series. All she needed was the right teacher and the right motivation. 🙃

Planning the Australian story was difficult. Due to time difference a visit to Australia would have been difficult, even on a weekend, I think. So I tried to make it work in Metropolis.
bakasi They are there for each other and I wanted the stories to vary at the start and the end... also it wouldn't be realistic to have absolutely no mention of Superman rescues or Planet stories in the series.

bakasi Yes it is a lovely tradition and it is also one of the traditions I knew of before creating this series, although I always thought it was set earlier in the month.

# Dec. 15th Songbird We went to Riga with the family five years ago, they even have a christmas tree monument. There are several other places where the tree could have origniated. Years ago I heard the tradiiton came from the Celts, who brought branches of certain trees in and that it was a tradition to keep away evil spirits.
