Happy Kerth Season! This is the thread for all the writing prompt activities for this year's Kerth Awards!

New writing prompts will be posted bi-weekly during the Kerth season!

And so to get us started, here's the first Kerth Writing Challenge:

Kerth Challenge #1: Random Episode Fic

Ask the person nearest to you to give you a number between 1 and 4

Then ask them to give you a number between 1 and 22

The first number is the season your story will come from and the second is the episode from that season. Using that, write a story that either alters the episode, adds to it, changes it, or continues it.

Here we are with Kerth Challenge #2: You've Got Mail Challenge!

Something happens to the Daily Planet computers when the powers that be attempt to add an instant messaging system to the Daily Planet computers. It works, but with one hiccup -- you can send a message to anyone in the office, but they can't see where it came from.

When Lois starts receiving messages from someone in the office, she is intrigued.

When Clark initially sends his first message, he doesn't intend to remain anonymous, but there is something freeing in being able to express himself to Lois this way.
