Things are starting to get serious! Tre-Vil is a man of few words. He will let his sword teach Kal-El what he needs to know.

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Clark has indeed much to learn. I love how you're writing the sword fights. It sure feels like you know what you're talking about. Very nicely done 👍

Thanks for another terrific chapter! It’s good that Dever went to Tre-Vil and that Tre-Vil will now be training Kal-El. Kal seemed a bit over confident so it’s good that Tre-Vil was able to demonstrate to Kal that he still has a lot to learn if he wants to beat Nor. Since Kal has to win to return to Lois, he’ll be giving everything he has to the training.

The training session was wonderfully written and I felt like I was there watching it. I was on the edge of my chair reading. I’m sure the duel with Nor will be even more intense.

I’m glad they discovered that Jen-Mei is a traitor. Hopefully they can recover many of the missing weapons and make Jen-Mei pay for his crimes.

I love this story and I can’t wait for the next chapter! Thank you!

Thank you so much for that! Yes, poor Clark is good, unfortunately he is not as good as he needs to be in order to cross swords with Nor. But this fight was one of two that I wrote for this story. The late Ken Janney wrote all of the others. He really knew so much about swords, medicine and computers. We often bounced ideas off each other for days at a time before we were satisfied with the final results. This fight between Clark and Tre-Vil is the result of my memories and e-mails from those discussions.

Dever is a kind and wise person. Someone who although we don't see him very often, helps to keep Kal-El grounded while living on New Krypton. I like to think of him as Uncle Mike. wink

Oh, former Convoca member Jen-Mai is going to get his just desserts soon! spider

Thank you for reading and commenting, it is much appreciated! Hope to get the next part up by next week.
