So, you didn't have time to write the next story, eh? You didn't have anything ready as a sequel, eh? Hah! See if I believe you next time!
Actually, I like this series. I like the way Spike pushes Clark's buttons. And if there are sixteen chapters coming, I kinda doubt things will be quiet around the Kent household. You've put all these vampire fighters in Clark's world for a reason, and I can't believe it's just for some romance and personal growth. I'm sure that will happen, too, but there's gonna be some real action coming soon, I just know it!

I have around 240 unread e-mails in my e-mail box, some of which actually do need to be answered, preferably yesterday. Sigh. At least most of those will require short answers. I truly don't have time for fanfic and I'm writing it anyway. This is way more fun than doing real work.

Glad to see this so soon!
“The Hellmouths were closed by a Slayer by the name of Li, in 1902, 1904, 1908 and 1910. There were four of them, total.”
Makes Buffy seem an under-achiever!
The local Slayer's reaction to Spike ought to be interesting. Wonder if Angel (or Angelus) is around in this world, ditto Spike - my guess is that Li got him, but if not he's presumably still evil. Is there a Sunnydale?

A long novella at 9 pages.... Me giggles and thinks of my many, many, so many, many pages long story and so many to go.... Great story!! I like this quote: But there was no psychic connection between her and Spike. If there was, she wouldn’t have gone three years believing him dead. Had she known he lived she would have torn the world apart searching for him. Ahh, that's so sweet. Marcus, the idea of the big bad one of the worst vamps ever - Angelus. Ooohhh... Sounds interesting. I hope LMouse uses it...

9 pages is the outline. It'll probably end up around 50 to 60K words, ballpark estimate. Angel's in this, but not as a big bad. You meet the Big Bad in the next chapter. Leva Originally posted by Classicalla: A long novella at 9 pages....

Yes, I knew you meant that nine pages was your outline.
I eagerly await the next chapter.

I'm going on vacation this weekend and it appears that I'll have most of my work backlog done before I go, so I may be able to curl up on the porch at my father's cabin and do some serious writing this weekend. Expect a few more chapters by Monday, if all goes well.
