Ooh. Fascinating idea! I'm loving it so far. But...the summary says 2 supermen? Poor Clark! It's bad enough that he has himself to compete with, but two other men...armed with kryptonite! I hope Lois finds out and beats the imposters with a keyboard!

You've got me hooked. Your writing is great. I think you've got yourself at least one follower for this story wink

Definitely at least two!

I really liked the part. Green K! You greally got me, I didn't suspect that a moment. I like it when Clark suffers from it, instead of Superman. That always makes it more interesting, especially since the stuff is not lying around openly.

Hurry back with more!

Great part, Rhea! smile1

Yea, Rhea, you posted it! smile

Clark is in a pickle now!

For goodness sake, Lois, I hope this line alone plants a few seeds of doubt.

Was he teasing her? Or did he do this regularly? And just how many women did he date? Lois felt anger growing within her. Did he think that she would just fall into his bed if he showed up like this? Did he even have a bed?
I love this series of questions ending with an irreverent one!

The spark was gone. She felt nothing. In fact, as his mouth moved over hers, all she could think of was how she hated the feel of his scratchy jacket on her skin. Her mind told her that she should be enjoying this but all she wanted was to go home and watch some TV or reading a good book.
oh good!

Why hadn't he thought of that right away? He could still do it, return as Superman and Lois would have to question the validity of this man's claims.
Yes, that is a good idea, but then you'd have to explain why Superman just randomly showed up at a social event!

I am so glad that Lois left "Superman" to go help Clark.

So the question now is, does Lois still think this guy is Superman or not? Lack of attraction aside, when she thinks back on it, she probably will begin to realize that the man was acting very un-Superman-ish. Also I don't think it is in Lois' nature just to accept his claim without some proof, at least not after the initial shock of his statement wears off.

Great opener, Rhea. I am looking forward to more!

*My* people? Oh, wow.

Lois strode away leaving him alone on the dance floor. Superman crossed his arms and his features tightened in anger. The other dancers gave him a wide berth.
Oooohhh…

"Lois. I can't use my powers in front of all of these people."
Curiouser and curiouser.
