Nancy, I really enjoyed this. You can so easily see this fitting right in as a missing scene from the pilot. Although I admit to being suprised that he kissed her, although, ironically, it actually probably was the best way to get rid of her. And he didn't lie! She sighed somewhat angrily, picked her raincoat, donned it and walked to the door. “You don’t know what you’re missing.” She paused. “Correction. I don’t know what I’m missing.” She shook her head and walked out the door. Good line! And since you asked, I like The Raincoat better than The Raincat.

Thanks, Lisa!! I appreciate the feedback.
I started to not have him kiss her, but then I decided it really was the best way to get rid of her.

Hi Nancy, Brilliant, funny and Poor Cat, her red face must have been quite a picture. Regards, Stuart

Cute fic, Nancy. I kind of guessed after the first paragraph that Cat was going to do that, since you put both titles up, but I still liked it.

nice!! I like that Cat caught on to things - I always knew she couldn't be totally ditsy, even though we never actually see her doing any serious sort of work on the show. hehe! She would still need to have some reporter instinct and I'm glad you gave her that.
