Fantastic chapter! I love that Clark was a little more assertive and set Lois straight about Cat right up front.
And there was something she would never even admit to herself: jealousy. Unconsciously, Lois begrudged Cat her ability to wrap men around her little finger.
*snort* No Lois, you aren't jealous of Cat's ability with men, you're jealous that she's hitting on Clark...you just don't realize it.
Wow, Lois keeps putting her foot in her mouth around Clark. I'm glad though that she apologized to him!
It didn’t look like a rejection. Not at all! Cat’s hand rested on Clark’s belly and stroked it. Clark watched her like she was the most incredible woman on earth. His mouth gaped open and he just stared at…well, Lois assumed it wasn’t her face.
