Should Lois cut her hair, Tank? Are you seriously asking us that? It's been a while since we had a good Tank haircut story. Go for it! Ann

It took me until the end of the story to remember who was writing this, and therefore why Cat picked the hair quality. Interesting story though, no doubt.
I think, therefore, I get bananas.
When in doubt, think about time travel conundrums. You'll confuse yourself so you can forget what you were in doubt about.
What's the difference between ignorance, apathy, and ambivalence? I don't know and I don't care one way or the other.

I think Tank might just surprise us and let her keep her hair long...
I mean that would be a real Tank ending now wouldn't it?

Loved it! I'm pretty sure Lois will get her hair cut real short and I'm guessing the end of this will be just as amusing as this part was. Well done, Tank!

Oh come on folks, this is a story by Tank. She has to end up with short hair or do something so over the edge that everyone will faint in shock. Kryptonian women were hairless. I'm betting she gets it all shaved off.

Given that this is first season Lois, I can see it going either way, character-wise. Given that Tank is writing the story, I think it's more likely that she'll get it cut. But shaved? I doubt even Tank would find that attractive :p .

Well, considering the author, I can even see Lois get bald, but wearing a wig - usually. The next time she sees Superman, she'll show him her "Kryptonian haircut". Well, whatever you have in mind, Tank, I'm sure I'll love it.

["Actually, Kryptonian women were hairless."] That was IMMENSELY funny. And of course she'll get her hair cut. <g> The day I read a Tank fic where Lois grows her hair out or something...well that'll just be the day... JD

The day I see Tank write a fic where Lois "doesn't" get a haircut is the day that I'll know H.G. Wells has traveled through time and space and messed with Tank's writing style. <g> Uhh, maybe that will make more sense later... Anyway, I LOVED this Tank. So, so funny. Cat is so mean! I truly hope Lois doesn't shave her head - although, I'm betting that even though you like women with short hair - you don't like them bald. You wouldn't do that to your poor Lois, would you? Not even Lois is that desperate to get Superman's attention - is she? Anyway, loved this. Can't wait to see part 2! -- DJ

Interesting question. Will she or won't she cut her hair simply to attract a man who hasn't shown a great deal of interest in her in the first place?
Being a guy, I can see a woman who might cut her hair in a particular fashion because the man in her life likes it a certain way, but I'm a little leery of a woman who's so desperate for some guy that she cuts her hair because she thinks he might like it. That feels a little like a step down the road to being a stalker, and that's not something I'd ever envision Lois being.
[dons Grammar Nazi hat] The word 'peaked' refers to a high point of some sort, whether a physical or topographical one or a metaphorical one. A person whose interested is sharply drawn to something or someone has his or her interest 'piqued' instead of 'peaked.' [/end Grammar Nazi moment]
This is actually an interesting insight into the thought processes of both Lois and Ca-Catharine. Both of them are so impressed by the Man of Steel that they consider changing something about themselves. Cat changes the way she is addressed, and Lois contemplates changing her look. Maybe they are different only in degree.
Life isn't a support system for writing. It's the other way around.

Tank - it's nice to see that some things haven't changed in the time I've been away from the fandom . I think Tank writing a story where Lois DOESN'T get her hair cut would be a direct result of some sort of problems with the time-space continuum [of the sort that Doc talks about in Back to the Future II] - or HG Wells has brought us the Alt-Tank. One of the two. Can't wait to see the rest! Carol

You know, now that everyone has commented that Lois will get her hair cut, because this is Tank after all, I'm sure he'll have her change her mind just to prove us wrong .

*Snicker* As much as I would love to see Lois go bald (oh, wouldn't that be a hoot), I think she'll keep it normal length. Even though you like short hair, Tank. Bald Lois

Sneaky! I should have seen it coming but I didn't.
Tank, it is so good to see you post again! Your hair cut stories always make me smile.
Looking forward to part 2. Will she or won't she?

lol. Cute story all around. Though Clark telling Cat that he has been here as a child is not believable. Still the joke will be on Lois and I like that. Laura

*awaiting the ending* Yeah! I don't think she will, but there will be a twist. Why? I really don't want her to make her hair short! Maybe she'll stop half way through and wander around with a bad cut until it grows back. If she does it she'll remind me of some sort of junior high girl desperate for love.
I've converted to lurk-ism... hopefully only temporary.

Actually, Kryptonian women were hairless. Very funny! And it wasn't until I read this that I realized where this was going. What if she doesn't just cut it but actually gets it shaved off?

Granted the girl in the images doesn't look the least bit like Lois... I did these in half an hour - I didn't bother trying to morph the model's face to make it look like Teri Hatcher's. Mind you, maybe someday I will... Anyway. This is what *could* happen.... And this is something we'd all be a lot more comfortable with... Yes. I have WAY too much time on my hands. I know. It's completely ridiculous!

I'm surprized at the number of people that want Lois to go bald.
What will Lois do? I guess we'll have to wait until I post part two.
When will I do that? Probably just before I sign off for the night.
Thanks to all the gentle readers who partook in this piece of fluff. I hope that the second part receives as much attention.
