Well, I wasn't going to do another one, but Olympe thought the story wasn't finished. So I went ahead with it. What do you think? Does it weaken the original story? Add to it?

Should I write Surrogate 3: Surrogates revenge? evil

Just kidding....

Maybe Clark will rediscover his Spaceship anytime soon? wink

I liked your writing - even if you spelled me without an 'm'. razz Although I feel with this poor loving mommy-ship.

Yes, I'd like to see Clark rediscover the ship, too.

Beautiful, Shayne. Absolutely touching. There is something about this lovingly maternal ship of yours that reminds me of an old human woman, the mother of a grown son, who is proud of and happy for her son, who, however, has better things to do with his life than pay any heed to his old mother. (By which I'm certainly not implying that Clark isn't treating Martha with lots and lots of love and respect. But as for how he treats his old ship, well, what would you expect?)

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I doubt that I'll write a third part to this story, but I'm glad some folcs have enjoyed it.

Thanks Ann, Olympe, Classicalla, Laura.

Loved it!

Stumbled upon this one today as I surfed backwards to make sure I hadn't missed anything when the boards got so exciting.

This was as poignant as the last one. For such a manly kind of writer you do the maternal thing quite well.
