Just now catching up on several weeks worth of posts on the boards, so I'm leaving feedback on all four parts at once.

Interesting premise. (Of course, I knew it would be just because it was Paul who was posting.) I did get a little sad though seeing how Alan broke up with his wife, especially as they were just starting on their second chance.

Very interesting seeing the show entirely through a bit character's POV. I can understand why he feels that Superman doesn't do a good job with "clean-up", even as I feel like arguing with him, "Hey, he does so much as it is!"

Almost choked when I realized he was trying to recruit Cat. Didn't see that one coming at all.

Well done. (Except for that really BAD joke that I won't admit liking, "The Fortress of Sewertude.")

Well, I guess everyone else was stunned into silence, but thanks for the comments, Elisabeth. smile

Glad you're enjoying the story - with, perhaps, one little exception... That line was kind of a guilty pleasure for me (too wink ).

Glad you liked the twist with Cat, too. laugh

And... sorry I'm not being more articulate, but I've had a long weekend and I'm pretty tired right now. So I'm just going to go ahead and post Part 5. But thanks again for commenting. smile

Paul

When in doubt, think about penguins. It probably won't help, but at least it'll be fun.

Sorry, Paul, for not commenting. I do like this story. I like the different viewpoint.

I think, therefore, I get bananas.

When in doubt, think about time travel conundrums. You'll confuse yourself so you can forget what you were in doubt about.

What's the difference between ignorance, apathy, and ambivalence?
I don't know and I don't care one way or the other.
