Awwwwwwwwwwww, Alicia - I came in briefly from a crowded afternoon of beta-reading and some Archive work, looking for something to unwind with, and this was the perfect thing to read while taking a short break. Thank you! Sweet, waffy - I'd guessed that he was looking at Lois, but that was all, so the ending was a cute surprise - and the prose and descriptions of all those views he'd seen during his life were beautifully written. LabRat (now going back to work with a smile on her face...)
Athos: If you'd told us what you were doing, we might have been able to plan this properly. Aramis: Yes, sorry. Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

Oh, this is great, Alicia! I liked taking the "scenic route" through Clark's life You had some great descriptive prose in there. And the ending was so very sweet. PJ

Very sweet little story! I loved it! Well keep up the great work!
*Blayne*
Clark: You are really high maintenance, you know it? Lois: But I'm worth it.
Clark: Not exactly what you had in mind, huh? Lois: Let's see. So far I've been given a glimpse of ritual crop worship, been treated as your girlfriend, and insulted your parents. No, I couldn't have planned this.

Hi, Cute story.

I also guessed that the view was Lois--the little girls were a wonderfully beautiful added touch.
So very nicely written.

Waffy, sweet and ditto to all the above I love that song by Lonestar. If you have ever seen the music video for it different people are looking from the "front porch in" and they see what means most to them inside whether it be a spouse or family. Everytime I hear of it I think "Yeah, that relates to L&C" So great job and write more. Your work is superb.

Aww, very sweet, Alicia. I like it. And a great tag line at the end, about the view being inward, not outward. One question, though: A carrot-top who could barely walk dangling a sippy cup of milk. A little blue-eyed blonde, Very sweet ... are you assuming adoption or two cases of recessive genes popping up in your descriptions of the girls? I can see Clark having some red hair in his background due to the brief glimse we got of his biological mother, but I know I'd be surprised if Lois gave birth to a blue eyed blonde with as dark as her and Clark's coloring is. Very nice vignette, though. Kathy

Actually, the odds of two brown-haired people, each of whom had a parent who was NOT brown-haired, producing a blonde and a red-head are not that bad. I bet I can find pictures of some real-life cases, if you like. Edit: OOOPS! Bad rivka! I forgot to comment on the actual fic! I really liked it! So sweet . . . <happy sigh>
Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

Awwww, that was very sweet, Alicia. And the Eifel Tower is really something special (having seen it recently <G>), so the comparison from Clark there is great.
