Another great part in a great series. This time, you had me chortling with laughter:

clap I sure hope Clark doesn't buy it. Or it might reveal a whole new side of him. angel-devil

“Called to do what?” Lois asked. “What is a slayer?”

At least Clem has Lois thinking about the down-side of going public. I have a feeling that the next demons she meets won't be so helpful.

I liked it, Shayne. Particularly the entrance of Clem. I remember him from the series, little though I got to see it. frown

It'll be interesting to see Lois exploring more of her Slayer-ish tendencies in the following parts...

~Anna.

Lois: Jimmy, give me back my dress.
Clark: Now there's something you don't hear around the newsroom everyday.

“Used to be a demon bar,” Clem said. “They have to move fairly often. The wards have already faded on this one.”

“Wards?”

“They didn’t bother with them much back in Sunnydale, but in a lot of places they hire a magician to make people ignore things…people see them, but don’t make the connection.”

“So if they saw you…”

“They’d remember a guy in a great shirt.”

Lois glanced at Clark remembering the other missing address. “You could find one of these other places for us?”

Clem shrugged. “Well…I’ve been having a bit of trouble finding a new place. All the free places have squatters, and the places with rent are crazy expensive.”

Glancing at Clark, Lois sighed. “We could pay you.”
Is there any chance that you will let Clem take them to Lorne's Place? PLEASE

I'd love to see him read Lois--singing smile1 . I wonder what he would read if they get Clark up in front of the Mic. . .

More soon clap dance )

Hah, that was really funny, Shayne. I liked Clement Clem. Who says demons have to be bad people just because they are, well, demons? Demons are people too, right? wink

And you gave Lois at least a moderately acceptable reason not to print what she knows about Sunnydale. Of course, if she chooses not to print it, then she will be that much more obliged to fight the evil of Sunnydale!

Looking forward to more, Shayne!

Just caught up on the last 2 parts. Loved the dialogue in part 16 between L n C and chapter 17 is my favorite so far as the A plot goes. I love Clem. Laura
