Now that's a revelation -- and if he'd had any sense he'd have done it that way instead of waiting until she figured it out for herself!

Very sweet! With the pictures, it's cute, too.

Very, very good, Clark. Tell her the secret first, propose to her later!

I loved the blackmail photographs! Yes, Clark, you'd better behave from now on. Maybe Martha can throw one of those partly-wrapped-in-a-yellow-towel baby pictures into the bunch, too! rotflol

I thought this was so good. So Jonathan:

Quote
"You're okay with it, Dad." It was a statement rather than a question.

"I've known for a while that you were going to tell her, son, and yes, I'm okay with it. I trust her."

Clark covered one of Lois' hands with his own. "That means something. Dad doesn't trust anyone. Sometimes I'm surprised he trusts me with it."

The foursome laughed.

"I trust you, Clark. I have since you were, oh, 21, 22. Something like that. Before that it was because I didn't have a choice." Jonathan's smile and teasing tone offset the words he spoke.
Perfect.

All, in all, I guess we can say that Clark never got around to telling Lois his secret on the show because he didn't have a To Do list? laugh

You didn't add this to your TOC Carol. (took a while to find this FDK thread.)

ok, I loved this story! It is a very original idea, and you shoehorned NaNoWriMo into it as well!

Great Job!

See this is why I don't do my own TOCs wink .

Thanks James! You know - you were the first one to mention NaNo - I'd been working on my outline while writing this. Now to get it all fixed up so I can post it next year...

This was posted on the archive last week, I think.

It's added to the TOC now.

I've also realized I was remiss in thanking all of you for your wonderful fdk! Thank you so very much!!

Carol [who should be cleaning her house but is reading fic instead]
