I immensely enjoyed this story... Disitinction between powers & superpowers - what an ingenuous idea! Reminded me a bit of the movie Sky High . Have you seen it? If not, you should definitely do so!
If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

I assumed a Sky High crossover too - either way, it was a nice story.

If that is not a Sky High crossover, I don't know what is.
If so, I will be happy to include it in the Crossover Challenge. (Which, I haven't updated for a while, it will happen tomorrow.)

And actually, it helps me solve a problem that I have had with a couple story ideas that I have been toying with for several years but couldn't quite get to work right.

I really liked it. (I did assume it was a Sky High crossover, though.) It was quite cute. Actually, it reminded me of a line from Crocodile Dundee II, "That's not a knife. THIS is a knife."

I have no knowledge of Sky High, so there were no connotations in the story for me, there. I found the whole idea of a secret school for teaching the kids of superheroes absolutely charming though and I loved the little touches of sly humour throughout. The implications of CJ not having broken anything for instance. LOL. Cute idea and so nice to see you back posting on the boards, RC! LabRat

It also reminded me of Sky High. I loved his trying to explain the difference between powers and superpowers. Even though he was being very polite I could almost see him rolling his eyes. Like man she works at the school and doesn't know the difference. Very cute.
