Ack! You killed Jack and made Clark the framee. Wow, that's ... brilliant! I loved the changes you made and although I'm not happy that Clark is in jail, it's fascinating to see everyone working together - that Lex as "the Boss" is common knowledge to the whole group.
Cox seemed amused by the accusation. “Not me. But if you’ll take a little advice from someone who’s been there… take the ring, climb into his bed, and graciously accept his settlement when he realizes you’re just like all the other sluts he’s wooed and screwed.”
“Like you?” Lois challenged.
Cox chuckled. “I have other talents he appreciates, but yes. Like me.” The elevator doors opened. “Just remember what I said, Miss Lane. No one tells Lex Luthor ‘no’. No one.”
Whoa. I can't quite tell if Mrs. Cox is threatening Lois or if she's warning her with a dash of pity. Nicely written.
I still suspect that Luthor knows about Clark's alter-ego and that's why he pinned the bombing on him. In the original BatP, Lex didn't consider Clark worth worrying about, but without Superman, he's proven to be so much stronger than Lex expected. And assertive. Ever since the planning of Superman's funeral, Clark has been a bigger nuisance to Luthor. I suppose it's not a surprise he was targeted.
The area beyond was a pallid green.
Kryptonite on the walls of the jail? No wonder they were able to get a blood test.
Scary about the psychic attack. Sounds like the work of Baron Sunday.
More soon,
