And, ML, what do you mean by *couple* of days. Couple as in two, as in Wednesday, I sure hope.

And did Luthor catch them in the act or did they hear him before he saw them? Or is this a secret to be revealed later ?

She *did* send me an email the other day. It was completely blank.

We emailed back and forth several times that day. Did I *ever* get TNPLH attached to one of them? NoooOOOOoooo.

*sigh*

So, my guess is that Lex set Perry up with the Kryptonite thing [I don't remember the # or how to spell Smalwhatever ]. So Clark and Linda believe they're reporting the truth, but they're not of course. And now we know why everyone at the Planet hates Clark. Probably.

So... /me borrows Constance and hypnotizes ML into sending whole file to Carol

I love how you are bouncing between their real reality and the reality that they are trapped in. Excellent job.

I'm leaving at the crack of dawn Wednesday and won't be back for a week. And since I'm going to have so much luggage with me, I won't be taking my laptop. So I'm going to have to wait to read the follow-up here.

I had always assumed that Clark's betrayal of Perry White happened during the initial interview with him. It didn't make sense to me what could possibly have gone so wrong, but it did make sense that whatever he did cost him his potential job.

I wonder how Clark explained his presence at the Daily Planet to the police. How could he have overheard so much from outside of the building? How did he sneak inside without the police noticing? What was his cover story?
