Beautifully written.

A smile is on my face when a single fat tear rolls down my cheek. I brush it away quickly, full of shame. I’m not allowed to cry; crying would only make me feel better. And I’m not allowed to feel better.
I loved this line, it sums up Lois' emotions perfectly.

Many thanks to Nancy, for being so patient with me and helping out with this! I really appreciate what you did!
You are kindly welcome.

Well, you know I really liked this story, but I'll tell you again. It was beautifully written. It's yet another TOGOM story, but yet I've never read one like it. Very nice!

Not many of us can sum up so powerful and complicated of a story in a vignette. Wonderfully done.

I've been offline for awhile and barely have time to scratch the surface of catching up on what I missed, but I'm so glad I read this before I have to head off.

It was so beautifully written and so sad. I'm glad I know that Lois' hopes are about to be answered, or I'd probably be crying.
