Okay, so I assume that clears things up for everyone. I probably don't even need to post the rest of the story now.

Nope just send it to me. Interesting. Wonder about the electricity thing between Lois and Lane. And what would happen if there's some of the same between superpowered Clark and Kent. And Clark's powers are back - thank goodness . More tonight would be good. Well, tonight here. Before 1230 your time... While I'm waiting for the nurse to come back in and check on DS [still at the hospital...]. Come on, you know you wanna!!! Okay - why didn't Clark hear Lane in the other room? And now my head hurts. I'm sure there was more... Carol

Oh, one thing I should mention. In the next part, I promise to answer a longstanding question many of you have been asking. (after all, I did promise to answer it once I'd given you an even bigger question - and I think I've done that now ) ML

And you're not going to post again tonight are you? I did reread after they took DS' vitals etc. I missed Lane's dream about the little girl and the potty the first time around. Love it . So post again anytime soon or send it to me. Whichever. Or both. Both would be better. Carol

Okay, so I assume that clears things up for everyone. LMAO, clear as a bell. How many Kryptonians can you fit in a room before drama ensues...I don't know, I'll have to think about this part when I'm a little more sober. Ooh, maybe we'll finally find out what Kent didn't do to Lane back in the day! Great part, JD

It's clear that in your L&C 'Verse temporal entropic cascade failure does not lead to death right away but starts with blended memories. So whatever OUR Lois & Clark did sent them not to their past but to the past of an Alternate Universe.

A great way to start the next (and final?) act. Incredibly frustrating, but very well written. sent them not to their past but to the past of an Alternate Universe Personally, I don't have a clue what's going on. Originally, I had thought that Lois & Clark's trip to the past *created* the Alt-U that they found themselves in, but from the reaction Lane had to Lois' touch, I'd almost expect that they're still the same person. Maybe the timeline is still in flux? I know, I've been watching too much Doctor Who. I half expect giant Reapers to come along and start gobbling up the citizens of Metropolis, starting with Jimmy. I'd ask for more soon, but you're going to make us wait anyway. Brenda

L&K meet L&C. Boy, the sparks. Literally Something I wanted to mention in the FDK for part 42 but somehow it slipped by. I think it's not an Alt-U as such. Instead something went wrong during the timejumping and L&K are duplicates of L&C, sort of like the odd transporter accident on Star Trek that leaves a character with a duplicate on the other end. I know, you're neither going to confirm or deny it, invoking the Fifth instead. Yeay, okay, you're Canadian so it's not the Fifth, but L&C are US citizen's and, oh, well. Never mind. Just post the next part. Please? Pretty please Michael

Okay - why didn't Clark hear Lane in the other room? Well, the way I figured it, he was sound asleep. After all, he and Lois have had a pretty tough couple of days. I'll have to think about this part when I'm a little more sober Trust me, sobriety won't help much - after all, I was drunk when I wrote it (can't you tell ) Please tell me the posting schedule is daily now Well, no, but... I'd ask for more soon, but you're going to make us wait anyway. I was thinking that I might post the next part tonight. Something tells me you're going to enjoy it - or at least you're going to find it interesting I know, you're neither going to confirm or deny it, invoking the Fifth instead. Yeay, okay, you're Canadian so it's not the Fifth, but L&C are US citizen's and, oh, well. Never mind. Actually, I am going to plead the fifth - to all the speculation on here. I might be a Canadian, but pleading the fifth sounds a lot more... cool than saying that I invoke my right to remain silent under section eleven of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. So anyway, what do you guys think? Can you handle another part tonight, or do you need time to recover from this one. After all, chapter 44 is all ready to go. ML

ML As I'm going to be stuck in the hospital again tonight... I say POST!! Two parts really. Maybe three. Or email me the whole file. Yeah, actually, that would be better... . Carol

Fabulous as always!
If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

I think that we'll know what exactly when wrong in Clark's interview by the next chapter. Lois and Clark can simply ask Kent and Lane. Of course, that's assuming they're going to be cooperative.
Poor Jimmy. I have a feeling that he's going to stick his nose into this mess later on as well. Or maybe Perry gets involved now? I'm wondering how long Jimmy can go without telling anyone. Anyway, I guess at least some questions will be answered in an hour and a half, right?

Going to sleep now (330 am here)... hopefully when I'll get up in the morning, there'll be a new part I think the next chapter might contain either what exactly went wrong in 1992 or where is Vicky.

Just to let you know that I am around and should be posting the next chapter in less than 20 minutes. Then, while all you night-owls are reading, I'm off to bake a blueberry pie using the blueberries I picked today. ML

ML, that's just plain mean. First you taunt us with a twenty minute warning, while we KNOW you can post it now if you really wanted to, then you torture us with the thought of homemade blueberry pie while we wait.
