Yes, weird that 'fate' would bring them together.

I was wondering when the needed break would come.

Close enough to smell, long enough to get a good listen to the man's voice...

Not only Clark, but Matt, too.

James.

Ahh fate, Clark will begin to remember meeting Thomas and then watch out. I could see Matt standing there with his family so stoic and the scene from Mayson's funeral popped into my mind. I saw Matt mimic Clark as he blamed himself for the deaths of innocent people.

Excellent chapter,

I'm glad to see more of this fic, even though I am of course happier to see more of the Kents than I am to see more of the psycho killer.

It was interesting, nevertheless, that the murderer would come back to the scene of the crime to watch the devastation he had wrought. Murderers like this guy often do that. I hope and think that Clark is a good enough reporter to remember the weird guy who walked into him and realize that he is someone who should have his comings and goings looked into.

Hope to see more of the Kents next time, even though what you showed us of them here was certainly very good. I liked Lois's musings.

Jenni -

I have been remiss in my FDK but I am still reading and enjoying.

I feel for both of the Kent men. Clark because he can't do what he wants to and Matt because he can't do enough and hasn't yet realized that whatever he can do *is* enough.

More soon please.

Intriguing.

I find seeing the mind of the killer creepy.. but necessary.
If we don't understand the sickness in this man, we lose part of the story...

I love the sentiment in the Kent's at the memorial service...

And fate is strange sometimes the way it twists and turns...
I have a different perception to those who've posted so far however.

The fact that the bomber now has someone .... a nemisis.. will his focus sway? Is Clark (or his family) now in danger from this monster?
Will he start focussing his attentions on locations to rattle Clark?

As I said at the beginning... intriguing.

I love your writing style Jenni. You give the Kent's a hope, and a light... whether it is there or not..

keep it coming please.

Another great part...I'm worried about Matt, though. I know his parents will help him, since they've both noticed his demeanor.

I'm still nervous about where this goes before it's over, but I'm definitely looking forward to the ride!

Hi Jenni!

Just peeking in. I finally got started on reading "The Forgotten" and am looking forward to getting an instant sequel with lot's of already posted parts.

"This Child Belongs to You" was a great read smile

Jenni,

I am still reading and loving this story. I am looking forward to the next part. Your last sentence seemed a little ominous

"It was weird. Fate had brought them together"

I guess Clark will see more action and trouble or will it be Lane and Kent again.

As always your writing is beautiful. Since it is a week between post I had time to go back and read a couple of your other stories and I loved them all over again. Thanks again for writing such wonderful love stories that also have plenty of action.

Hi,

It's time to say my thank yous to everyone who took time to leave fdk.

I understand a lot of readers prefer to read about a younger Lois and Clark when they were falling in love, but it's nice to have some readers who appreciate finding out what might have happened to them in future seasons.

I know I probably sound like a stuck record, but fdk is very important to a writer, so please keep leaving me your thoughts, and even if you find something you disagree with, then I welcome constructive criticism. Please try to be kind, though, as I bruise easily. wink

Yours Jenni
