Wow.... I loved how you worked this... The emotional impact of the dialogue great... and again you make us really want to know what happened to Chad! I can take a guess at why Clark's in black and I can't wait to see how this plays out =P

Nancy, I really wonder how Superman is going to handle Nightfall in your story. Is he going to push it instead of using kinetic energy to blowing to up? And what does it mean that the asteroid is about 15% bigger than the one in his universe? Clark is obviously going to help, but how? Is he going to catch Superman in case something goes wrong. Are they both going to hit it. And just how is he going to deal with all the Lois-kisses.

So what happened to Chad? Did he die after all, or did Lois catch him doing something not suitable for a sweet and nice boyfriend. Or something worse? or just a normal breakup? You're really teasing us here...

Sorry, I didn't respond yesterday. I intended to, but then ended up spending most of yesterday in a fog as I was really hoping to finish this story over the weekend and was not nearly as close to doing so when I went to bed on Saturday as I would have liked. (I did it, though, sort of. The last chapter needed a fair amount of work this morning, but at least I had the basics done.)

Lieta - Maybe you should let Michael in on why Clark's in black. I think it will answer many of his questions.

Michael - Sorry, the Chad stuff still has a way to go yet. It will be abundantly clear when it happens, but for reference, the last flashback is in Chapter 46.
