I loved these parts!

The fact that Lois was upset about Superman's stuff being stole, her 'love' for Superman, Clark being upset about it, and her appology was so sweet.

And I can understand that Lois was upset that Superman didn't tell her about the globe (even though it wasn't his to tell her about, anyway.) Especially since she's closer to this Superman because she sees him more as a person. And his pain about her crying was just so Clark!

Wow.

Very nice parts. I love the ripples created by the different dynamics: Lois' reactions to the robbery and the revelation of the globe... I also find it interesting that Clark answered a call and yet we see the one step forward, two steps back but typical lunkheads, they won't talk about it...

Finally, that opening flashback... wow... that was a powerful piece of writing...

I have been reading and loving all the parts. I was up to my eyeballs dealing with RL and did not have time to comment. I continue to love the different spin you put on each episode. Lois' relation with Clark and Superman is very different since Clark is not trying to hide and Superman is real. It seems to me L&C's friendship is much deeper. Even though this Superman has sabotaged Clark a few times with Lois I am not sure I can see the 'I love Superman'. Has Superman really encouraged it that much?

Thanks, Sara, Sara, and robinson!

Sorry for the slow response. I was not feeling well yesterday, so decided to wait to respond till I felt like I could do so somewhat intelligently.

Thanks, Sara. I was worried a little that Lois' initial callousness to Clark may not go over well. It wasn't planned, it just sort of happened. Similarly, I hadn't planned on Lois telling Clark she was in love with Superman yet and considered taking it out once it appeared on my screen, but she was pretty insistent.

Sara (Lieta) - I know typically Clark and Superman didn't talk about Clark's rescue, but they're not actually being lunkheads here. The discussion is coming (in the parts I'm posting tonight, I think).

robinson - I hope RL has calmed down slightly. I do think Superman has encouraged Lois. Not on purpose, perhaps, but he has now held her several times while she cried, had real conversations with her, etc.

While he is trying to keep his distance, in reality, I think he's actually set up a situation where he and Lois have had more of the moments Lois and Clark had in the original that were the building blocks of their relationship than he ever had with his wife as Superman.

But, that's just my opinion.

Look for the next two parts later tonight...
