Glad to see you back Jenni! I didn't dislike this part at all. I do confess that I am puzzled at this moment but that could be due to the severe cold I have.
I look forward to your continued unraveling of the mystery.

I'm guessing what's his name was slighted by our lovely old lady at some point. And poor Liz.

My, what a mean old witch! She's like a female Mr. Scrooge, or worse. Although I could sympathize with her anger and despair at what happened to her mother. It really wasn't at all uncommon in the early twentieth century that women died of complications of pregnancy and childbirth, even here in the west.
Anyway, I wonder if this fearful old woman is any relation of the not-so-beloved bomber of this story, the one who needs to punish the world for the bad things that have happened to him.

well this is an interesting turn of events. a new character into the mix... I wonder if per chance she might be related to our bad guy.. I surely hope the parcel isn't from him.... What an intriguing web you weave! I love how this is written... keep it coming.

The old lady is the bomber's aunt. In part 13 he remembered her: He joined his voice with that of the crowd, allowing his enthusiasm to manifest itself in song. No one could object to him singing hymns. After all, thanks to his holier-than-thou Aunt Ina, he knew all the words, and even she had admitted he had a decent singing voice.
The thought of Aunt Ina threatened to spoil his ebullient mood. Perhaps it was time to take revenge on the old witch. I'm sure the package is his revenge. Looking forward for the next chapter, Jenni. Andreia

Hi, I'm amazed! You all got the connection, and Andreia, you win the coconut!!! Thank you all for accepting and liking a part where neither Lois nor Clark showed up. That was what worried me, but Lois, Clark and the children will be back soon. I won't say anymore as I don't want to spoil the surprise ... Yours Jenni

Jenni, I of course recognized Mrs. Scrooge and now she's got a package. Poor Liz is going to get blown up and Aunt Ina will have a shock. Looking forward to part 22, Michael
