Nuts! This is terrible! Someone besides me has written an outstanding vignette and not given me one iota of credit!
The fact that I deserve no credit whatsoever is totally irrelevant, nor is the fact that not one word, idea, or concept of the story can possibly have come from me. This miniature masterpiece must be reckoned to be the work of an outstanding author, one whose -
Aw, shucks, never mind! This was both funny and brilliant, Elisabeth. No wasted words, no fat or fluff, no red herrings or false trails, just outstanding writing. It made me laugh so hard I almost spit Gatorade on my monitor.
And the ending? Priceless! Great job! We want to see more from you!

If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

I'm still laughing, Elisabeth! That is *so* funny. I had a feeling where she was going with it when she called Martha, but I imagined it was just going to be more along the lines of calling him on his chivalry. So, so funny!

Someway I had missed this story when it was posted. I'm glad the FDK thread came up again. It was very funny. I'm sure Martha gave Clark a piece of her mind. Lois and Martha together are unbeatable. Clark's got no chance against them.
