It's nice to see Kal make some friends, as well as to gain confidence as Clark Kent--although I imagine that the toy must be disconcerting.

This was a very nise part. (At least as nice as one gets without lots of Lois and Kal interaction. smile )

It is good that he is developing some non-Lois contacts. I have a feeling that later on, he'll need someone to talk to *about* Lois. (other than the Kents) Brian's family seems very nice.

It's good to see that Brian was fairly well liked. It's hard to tell how original characters might be received.
