Lovely story. Love that Lois went to confront Clark - I've always hated that episode went, it was just wrong. Pig of Steel and Ape beneath the Cape LOL I loved the way Clark throws holes in her logic, and gradually builds to showing her *he* is Superman.

That was a great vignette! I loved all the details, especially Lois with the ice cream and also all of her thought processes.

I know this is very old, but I'm very behind in my fic reading and so just discovered this.
It's great, Michael - I could feel Lois' anger, but she still made me laugh. I particularly loved her name calling of Superman when talking to Clark - both the names, but also the fact that she does it. It gives credence to the idea that she really does love Superman for who he is even if she doesn't realize it - her ability to get angry at him for his behavior makes her feelings ring true.
