For the flying, it seemed to me that even gaining the ability to fly would mean losing something. When I think about their connection and relationship, the idea that Lois would no longer be carried in his arms would carry a certain sense of loss.

I think I’ve seen “The Incredables” too many times. No capes! As for showing the powers in front of Lara, I wanted to go a completely different way. At one time I had Lois playing sky-coaster with Lara (Lara loved it, Clark was terrified.
) but it didn’t make the cut for several reasons.

Yes. The new suit… I can only hope that it turns out that my own vision for a suit is reasonable. I have to admit that I NEVER liked the look of her old UW suit. I’ve always thought that it looked like something a 13-year-old would wear.

Those would be interesting but I’m afraid that level of detail will have to wait for another day. My intent was to cover only enough of “life’s little details” to be representative of the category of changes that Lois had to deal with. Things like leg and underarm hair care might have been fun but I just didn’t think of it for this fic. As for hair style changes, I agree that would be a concern as to identification.

Bernie loves to run tests. It’s a chance to learn. That is the driver for most hard-core scientists. As for Martha and capes, I just couldn’t resist.
Thanks everyone.
