Thanks, everyone!
Things at home are getting more normal - at least the new normal, so I thought I'd log on for a minute to reply to feedback. (I'll be letting Carol continue to post at least this week, though, as things are too crazy for me to be sure when I'll be online again.)
So, first off, thanks for the congratulations. My daughter, Rye Sophia, was born on June 19th. She was born at 5lbs and 5oz. And most importantly, she is completely healthy. She's also adorable - and I'm sure I'm not the slightest bit biased.
Michael - I love how you turned Steve into a verb!
I don't think Clark brings sheets into hotels, but then he probably never thought about the fact that someone else has slept there before. I have to say as a frequent hotel guest, I try not to think about that too much.
Thanks, Sarah - Carol is posting parts that were written awhile ago. So, I'm just wearing down buffer for now. Hopefully, I'll be able to get some writing done before it's completely gone. I can't recall how many chapters I had finished. But so far, while I have some free time during the day, I'm way too brain dead to get any good writing done.
Elisabeth - Exactly how would he explain to Maddie why he was going to be in the bathroom the rest of the night?
A rare intestinal flu?
Thanks, Amber and AnKS!
