Not sure what time tomorrow - probably late afternoon. Plans in the evening wink .

Thanks!

I'm glad to see that Lois is keeping her perspective. Clark tends to obsess. No matter where she was brought up - Smallville or Metropolis - Lois has her feet on the ground. She won't let Clark get away with mopery.

Well, that certainly turns the tables on who's having a worse night.

They so need each other.

Clark's feelings are completely understandable. But Lois is right that feelings and decisions are two different things. He needs her to provide some perspective. But he also needs her comfort and to be allowed to vent, so hopefully they can find that balance.

Poor Clark, this certainly could have ended things prematurely.

'Lois, I can't be with you. It's for the sake of the world.'

/wipes brow/
We certainly dodged a bullet there blush

Accident note: I have no idea who actually died in the real accident near the OK/KS/MO border [was in OK, closest hospital was in MO and the tow trucks had to detour through KS to get there [not sure if they hit MO or not]].

Anyway - yeah Clark had the worse night. I think it is a good thing that Lois is there for him and I somehow managed to miss Superman II wink . Actually, I think I've seen most of them at one point or another but very little recollection of them...

More coming up as I got [kidless!!!!] plans tonight!

This was wonderful and tragic. The combination of:
1. Finding / digging out the dead in the accidents that you do help with.
2. The feeling that you could have/should have done more.
These have to be Superman's greatest challenge. I think in the long run these would be far more damaging than Lex Luthor with Kryptonite. If you let yourself internalize that burden, and tried to carry it all alone, it would eventually destroy your soul.

I don't think Clark has any idea of just ho much Lois helped him with her final speech.

Also, in his distracted state I wonder if he took notice of Lois talking about their future marriage? And so casually too!
