Adding to it. This spin-off is priceless!

Oh, it's quite simple. It is a spin-off of another story featuring several Loises and Clarks in the very same place, talking shop. But then, *our* Lois and Clark were already married with kids. I'm sorry, but I don't remember the title right now.

Coffee at the Bakery
The premise is: there is a temporal/spacial nexus in the form of a coffee shop that is open to Superman and temporal/planar travelers.

The request for this story was 'five years later'.

One of the games is - being familiar with my body of work, can you identify any of the other Clarks and their companions?

The comment about the 777 in the terminal spin would be the Brandon Routh Superman from "Superman Returns", right?

To be precise, he's the version of SR Clark from Plane Storm

I am SOOOOOOO glad to see you posting here again!! It's been a while, hasn't it?

While I enjoy all your stories, it has been a while since I read the first bakery story so this one felt incomplete. And I couldn't believe that Lois didn't figure out SOMETHING when she saw someone named "Clark" leave as Superman. So I guess that means you have to write another sequel. (heh, heh, heh)

So, how soon will we see another post?

I think your Bakery stories have such a unique setting and premise, and I love them! I was glad to see another one!

Yes, more Bakery stories! Right now I'm too brain dead to identify the others, but it will come.
O.K. I'll give it a try. BTW I'm always confused when "old fashioned" means (I think) a plain donut and not a cocktail. Even wikipedia doesn't have an entry for that.
The first dark hair girl is Esperanza and the younger Clark for the Oil Refinery fire is her Dad.
Unfortunately, all the series names are a blur. I just recognize the stories.

Quote
A dark-haired woman in jeans and a sweater walked into the coffee shop. “Clark, earthquake in northern India,” she said, addressing the man as she held her hand out to the remaining little girl.

“Be right there,” the man said. He hurried toward the door and Lois caught a glimpse of a blur then a red cape as the door close behind him. The newcomer and the little girl followed him out.
That's "Joanne and Jerome" from the Shadows (?) series.
The blonde has me stumped.

cool

I thought I'd already commented on this, but no!

Brilliant concept, Dandello. The idea of a dimensional and/or temporal nexus isn't a new one, but you use it so very well! I liked the discussion of the airliner and how difficult it was to stop it without killing everyone on board. And I think the Bakery must also have a "Lois confusion" field operating in it. If a particular Lois doesn't know "the secret" when she enters, she won't learn it while she's inside.

So when's the next coffee date for Lois and Clark?

It's the Planes, actually. laugh

The oil refinery man with the dark haired woman is Clark and Lois from the Shadows series (Brandon and Kate). The man with the blonde is from ' All I Have to Give '

An old-fashioned donut is one of those that's all crusty and is usually drizzled with glaze. It's usually made with buttermilk. Old-fashioned donuts

Aha! Those donuts look indecent! Thanks for the info on which was which series. I must say I really enjoyed Joanne and Jerome running around in the SR universe, especially when Jerome was Lord Zod. "All I have to Give" was hard for me to start, but once I got into it I enjoyed it. I forgot about the blond, though. Yes, more coffee shop and universe hopping would be very enjoyable.
