What a delightful story! I read it in its entirety tonight. It was good from beginning to end.

I agree with Elisabeth. Wonderful! This was a new take on a familiar and much-written-about episode. I'm glad to see that Lois has been faced with the clarity that comes after a near-death experience (or an actual death experience in the first timeline.) It tends to cut through all the cr*p.

She knows what she wants now and she's going for it.

Very nice conclusion.

The double time-line / time loop confused me for a moment. I was thinking that for some reason, after the events where Lois helped him escape as Superman, he knew she loved him. Of course, there was no basis for that. Then I feared you were going to re-establish the status-quo. Of course, with her knowledge of him being Superman, there was really no going back. (I was afraid that memory was going to fade back out.)

Fortunately, Lois came through here: And she did!

*yay* Happy ending! For a few moments there I worried that things might work out just like they did on the show, proving the the story is predetermined
