Behind her, she heard her mother break down into tears, but she couldn't bring herself to feel anything other than anger and contempt toward her parents at that moment. Tears pricked at her eyes and she angrily wiped them away as she stormed down the hallway and out of the building. Sam didn't said much. That why she always go to Martha and Jonathan. I know I made the Lanes' reaction unpleasant So they got virtual raspberries from me, too (though in their defense, I was the one who made them behave awfully). There will be more soon, but as the title of the story suggests, they'll be dealing with a lot of stuff alone here. Thanks again!
