I do know what to do! And that would be a little bit of this - and then some of this - This was awesome! God, that smile should come with a warning label. Truer words were never written. It takes him a little while to get his ice legs Heh. He's got to be faking it. Especially since, in a couple of minutes, she's going to be gawking at Clark in motion. I loved the first person POV - and we got both of them in one story! I loved the insecurity and tension from both of them as they teeter on the edges of admitting their feelings (Lois) and the ultimate secret (Clark). This was beautifully written and wonderfully, WAFFily sweet.
Lois: You know, I have a funny feeling that you didn't tell me your biggest secret.
Clark: Well, just to put your little mind at ease, Lois, you're right. Ides of Metropolis

It started with a laugh empty with Bobby Bigmouth, Benny Bonebreak, and Sammy the Mouse. and ended with snogging. Very, very good. I liked the way they were having two conversations with each other! Excellent! Artemis

Truly sweet and WAFFY! I loved how Clark thinks he's busted, the secret is out, and then it turns out to be something totally different and so much better for him!

Awesome! I really liked the FPOV and the way you gave us both sides. The moment she lifted the glasses was priceless. Poor Lois. And of course, Clark would expect she knows, after all, now his magic glasses no longer protect him. And then he goes and dries himself off. I really expected Lois notice he's dry and the gig would be up. Wonderful fic! Michael

I loved all of this fic, but the ice skating and snow fight were such FUN - particularly for an Aussie in mid-summer, whose experience of snow and ice is extremely limited.
For me, the feeling of fun weaved through the whole fic - despite some confused and hesitant moments for Lois and Clark (which were really well written) - and I never doubted there would be a happy ending.
It is a lovely story, Happy. Next time it is 40+ degrees celsius, I'm going to read this again, just to cool off!
Oh - and the title is perfect!!

This was perfect. The confusion and hesitancy on both their sides was really well written and funny (kind of like a Three's Company episode, only without the stupid scene of someone eavesdropping).

I loved the story. The flow was very nice from the office through the skating and snowball fight to the fall in the snow and finally the talk. For myself, I had to smile when I read the list of items requested NOT to be in the fic. This one: 2. Revelation of Superman was fun considering what Clark thought happened. These types of stories are WAFFy gems and this was excellent. Bob

Happy feedback dance! I'm so glad you all liked it. I hope Saskia won't think I cheated on the no Superman revelation stipulation. He wasn't really busted, after all. I will admit that my first thought on reading what Saskia wanted in her story--ice skating, hot chocolate, and snogging, set second season around Christmas--was that it was going to be hard *not* to make it a rewrite of Kathy Brown's wonderful Momentum. It was like not thinking about pink elephants.
This *is* my happily ever after.

I loved the name Benny Bonebreak. Of course he looks good. When doesn’t he? Oh, yeah, he always looks good, doesn’t he? I love how you managed to come so close to a revelation without actually doing it - you almost had me worried that there was going to be a revelation when Saskia didn’t want one! And it was great the way you had them both totally misunderstanding the other. “Don’t ever call me ‘baby’ again.” I’m suddenly reminded of one of Sue’s (very hot) fics. Great story!!

I'm suddenly reminded of why I totally love ficathons. This year there has been one WAFFY gem after another.
Elisabeth who admits that she was totally distracted knowing that they were making out while Lois was wearing nothing more than an ill-fitting robe, particularly when Clark picked her up to lay her on his lap

I keep wanting to sing (the song with the same title as the fic).

And which particular fic of Sue's are we talking about? Much as I'd love to take credit for it, I'm pretty sure she's thinking of EditorJax's "Inside Out".

And which particular fic of Sue's are we talking about? You can't drop a hint about a very hot story and not tell us which one. Okay, let me look. I can't remember the title. Much as I'd love to take credit for it, I'm pretty sure she's thinking of EditorJax's "Inside Out". Oh, no, oh, Queen! It was definitely yours.

Much as I'd love to take credit for it, I'm pretty sure she's thinking of EditorJax's "Inside Out". It's not mine. My line has her saying, uh, make that panting, "Don't. Call. Me. Sweetheart." However, that does sound familiar. Are you sure it isn't one of Kathy's? That was the first name that came to mind.
Clark: "You don't even know the meaning of the word 'humility,' do you?"
Lois: "Never had a need to find out its meaning."

However, that does sound familiar. Are you sure it isn't one of Kathy's? That was the first name that came to mind. I'm about 99% positive this was a Sue fic. I posted a "looking for fic" on the nfic side. I was more reminded of Sue's fic by what Sue said - not what Lois said.
