That was some disturbing stuff with Clark "testing his limits." Your take on Clark throughout this whole story has been a little darker than usual. I hope (I'm sure!) Lois's support will help him gain self-confidence and self-appreciation, not just when he's with her, but in the rest of his life.

Yay! I sense the Suit will be coming along soon. And I'm glad that Lois knows and that this story will get her the internship that she deserves.

I like this supportive Lois. She's almost too good to be true, so I'm hoping there's no angst coming up in the rest of the story. Waffy is good.

I did expect Lois to ask more about Clark's x-ray ability. Or maybe, she hasn't realized the full extent of his ability, yet.

So, you did figure out a way to give them both the internship? What's going to happen there? I'm sensing something is still lurking around the corner

Patrick - Thank you, but where are the speculations on where things are going?

Amy – I’m not sure if my Clark is darker than normal – we don’t normally get to see adolescent Clark, but remember this is the guy with the Fortress of Solitude. I think the Clark we’re used to is just more mature and more comfortable with himself.

IolantheAlias – Yes, the suit will be appearing any minute now. (Well, as soon as I get the next part up, which, fingers crossed, will be later today).

CM – Yeah, I like supportive Lois, too. Although combative Lois is fun to write.

Sarah – I guess I don’t so much see him as Superboy, but we’ll see.

Michael – Glad you liked the LnC boxing thing. It just struck me as something Lois would do, even if she had no hope of hurting him.

As for the x-ray vision, as with many of Clark’s abilities, Lois has a lot more questions. Honestly, we won’t see most of them, but they haven’t had the last of their conversations on Clark’s abilities.

Something more lurking? You’re just finding a backhanded way to call me evil again. And I find that a bit of the pot calling the kettle…
