Great chapter. Nice how Lois figured out CK=S. Will be interesting to see where you take that.

Looking forward to more.

Great chapter - wondered if Lois would figure S=CK.

Are you planning a sequel, coz there are only two parts left - and I wouldn't mind more smile

I loved most of the chapter, the only thing I had any trouble with was the comment about Cat,I can't see him even thinking to himself that she looks good, when Lois is the one he is attracted to. Also I am not too fond of the notice of Lex's Italian shoes or that his turtle neck and Jacket looked good on him, it made Superman almost seem a bit gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that, and he may notice fine clothes, but I doubt he would think about them looking good on Lex. But it is a minor peeve on my part. The rest was great. Laura

Ah, the big revelation. You made it seem very plausible that Lois, not being blinded by her crush on Superman, was able to see through Superman / Clark Kent in about twenty minutes. (or maybe just a little bit longer, but not too much.)

And this Lois is softer - she's not so focused on getting the story. The Lois in the canon Pilot would have published Clark's secret straight off. This Lois has the background to stop and think what that would do to him, and to her.

Well done!

And yes, I'm looking for a sequel too, where Clark finds out that Lois knows. Maybe in "HiM"?

Wow, Lois knows!

The Lucy/Lois scene was fun! clap

Wonder what's up with the dream.

Great part!

Ooh, pretty feedback! smile

Glad you liked Lois' mental processes, Elizabeth. Sometimes the mind works on levels we aren't aware of. And Lois has never been dumb.

I'm not planning a sequel right now, DW, but I don't know what the future holds, either. That might depend on what the gentle readers think.

Glad you liked most of it, Laurach. As for Clark's thoughts about Cat, I assume you were referring to his comparison of the two eager women to her. Guys notice things like that. We tend to rank women according to their level of attractiveness, but it doesn't mean that we're actively attracted to them. It's an objective ranking, I promise. As for Lex looking good, remember that his handsomeness is one of his tools. Guys don't always know when another guy is really good-looking, but we almost always know when he's well-dressed. That doesn't mean we're attracted to the other guy.

I'm not writing a gay Clark in this story. Or ever.

Iolanthealias, thanks. Yeah, Lois is brilliant, and because she's not blinded by the powers, she's able to look closely at both of them and realize there's only one. And that's not a bad suggestion for a sequel. I'll toss the idea at my muses and see what they think.

Glad you liked the Lois/Lucy conversation, Michael. I've met sisters who seem to be that close to each other, and I've always wanted to write Lois and Lucy that way.

Next part up very soon!
