Thanks for the feedback, everyone!
Elizabeth-- I've been puzzling a little over your response (the "back together" bit particularly) and wasn't sure if you meant to leave it for another story? Or maybe I'm reading too much into the "back"?
Ann--
all the people that Clark saved because he was Superman in the show must die now, right, because Clark isn't Superman here? Then what about all the colonists going up in the next launch, when Clark won't be able to eat the bomb that will be set to kill them?
It is pretty amazing how many people Clark saved in the Pilot alone, isn't it?
I'm usually not much of a Jimmy fan, but you sure had me chuckling over this:
quote: A mental image popped in my head of an apron-clad Jimmy approaching me with a pan lined with Post-Its and staplers, and I couldn’t help but chuckle.
Hahaha. I am glad you chuckled over that! I actually considered removing the line a few times due to its randomness, but I just liked it too myself.
And I like your portrait of Lois so far, indeed!
I'm glad!
And as for the locket, well, there's a little more on that soon.
Framework--
But I rather think we are in for a very rocky ride along the way.
Things do generally tend to be pretty bumpy for the two!
DW--
I like how you have portrayed Lois so far and Clark certainly needs better comebacks for when dealing with Lois.
Thanks! And that's certain about the comebacks-- as comebacks go, Clark's was pretty darn lame.
AmyPrime--
This Clark really *is* a hack from Nowheresville, and Lois treats him (marginally) better.
Heh. I like to think that her marginally better treatment of him is Lois Lane's version of kid gloves.
IolantheAlias--
You know, it's actually kind of creepy, reading about the people that died in this version, because Clark was busy irradiating himself with the kryptonite locket. (just assuming that's what happened.)
Deaths due to inaction point to a sort of ripple in the water effect (granted, with Clark, it's more like waves). Superman is certainly a handy fellow to have around, that's for sure...
Again, thanks for the feedback!
