Interesting part. This Clark, very crippled. He may never have the "Right Stuff" to become Superman.

I couldn’t ever allow myself to get close to another person like that. It was too dangerous.
Hmm, a dead Nigerian Princess?

Ack, this is heartbreaking! Poor Clark!

And just as Lois and Clark have proved that Platt's theory was right, Lois is going to have dinner with Luthor. Please, somebody, stop her! She is going to tell Luthor that she has proof that Platt was right, I know she will!!! wallbash wallbash wallbash

This Clark is like a drug addict, but in reverse--exposing himself to the Kryptonite in order to make himself feel bad.

Wow, this Clark is a real obsessor. He needs someone to give him a slap upside the head, make him look at himself and what he's doing to himself, and have him realize that he really does have a wonderful life (cf. the Capra film) and that he needs to stop poisoning himself and make the most of his gifts.

Of course, his thinking is too twisted to go there...

Great story so far. I'm eagerly awaiting further chapters.

Good background stuff.

Still, there was nothing I could do about it. If I’d had my powers . . . but no. I shouldn’t be spying on Lois Lane. That would probably qualify as stalker territory. I didn’t need to stoop to that to satisfy my curiosity.
Nice catch and reflection on the show. And I can't help but add a little Luthorean quip: 'It's not stalking if you don't get caught.'

Wonder how you're going to play the warehouse.

This Clark is really like a reversed drug user and so obsessive ...

Wonder if Clark accidentaly burned a village in Africa to the ground with his "out-of-control" heat vision? And BTW, where will Clark's "accident" or whatever have happened in Africa - what country did you choose?

Looking forward to the next part smile1

Thanks for the feedback, folks! Sorry I couldn't post last night. Went out of town for Easter...

Framework-- Clark is indeed very crippled. But there is always hope, right?

Guess that makes him seem to be a masochist, eh?

Hahaha. You're right! I guess he missed the holiday runs of "It's a Wonderful Life."

Hahahaha. Thanks-- I had fun poking fun at the show there. And I like your Luthorean quip! Guess that also applies to breaking and entering, eh?

DW-- The part of Africa Clark refers to is in the southern part....

Thanks for the feedback, y'all!
