I'm glad Lois knows that Clark gave her the Lex interview.

I'm surprised that Martha would cooperate in getting Clark another piece of Kryptonite, but sometimes it's hard to say no when your child is hurting, even when they are an adult.

Thanks for posting.

Hey, I'm glad you got rid of Clark's locket! Dare I hope that he will start adjusting to his abilities? How long has he been poisoning himself? Did he have firm control of his abilities before whatever it was happened?

Still wondering what the previous big trauma in Clark's life was that made him become so fearful of his powers. Guess I'll just have to read and find out.

well done, well done.

Plus you've set him up to have his powers and be able to swallow the bomb.

Clark is clearly suffering from "super-fortio-phobia" (would that be passable Latin?). And since the superpowers he fears so badly emanate out of himself, he is an utter nervous wreck about them and about himself! Imagine being an arachnophobiac and sprouting spiders out of your body all the time! razz

I also have a feeling that Luthor will somehow gain possession of the green K ... eek

Great part!

I liked how you included the part with the Fudge Castle - I would also like to go there since it sounds like heaven - and that Lois knows about Clark giving the interview to her (hopefully, she won't steal his story in the future) clap

Clark's convenient regain of his powers just for the safe was well setup and didn't feel at all forced. thumbsup And the loss of his locket is just another perfect setup. Clark's going to learn of the shuttle's trouble just before he exposes himself again and will be able to save Lois. Just, where's the costume laugh

Well thought-out part clap

Michael

PS: I'd say this shard of kryptonite is done for.

Thank you all for the feedback!

Kim-- No matter how tempting it may be to try to live someone else's life for him/her, it's just not something you can do...But rest assured Martha isn't happy about the Kryptonite!

Have I? *shifty eyes*

Ann--"super-fortio-phobia"--I'm guessing that "fortio" is referring to his strength? And you're absolutely right that it would be awful to be arachnophobic and constantly sprouting spiders! That picture was particularly terrifying even for someone who isn't especially phobic haha!

Your discussion of snakes as a symbol of healing is really interesting. I guess maybe that's where the medical symbol of the snake on the rod comes from?

Clark has found something that he fears more than his own powers - he fears watching Lois die and being unable to help her more than he fears his powers.
That is good, isn't it! laugh
