Well written and interesting part. Looking forward to more.
Thanks!

Also looking forward to more; however, was it just my imagination, or was this part shorter than the others?
Thanks! I think my chapters range from a little over 2,000 to a little under 5,000. This was one that was a little over 2,000. I wanted the chapter break there, so I just went with it. The next chapter is definitely longer, though...

Good thing that you had Clark save Lois and the colonists, and it would have been weird if you had let them all die.
Hahaha. It would have been quite the downer, wouldn't it?
And Clark is doing repentance. I'm reminded of a movie I have seen - could it have been The Name of the Rose? - where a fat monk is torturing himself with a whip. I couldn't help being reminded of that scene when you had Clark expose himself to an unnecessarily large dose of Kryptonite.
I haven't seen that movie yet, but I must admit the idea of self-flagellation did occur to me while writing.
And I have to take back what I said in my last FDK - there is more than sulking to Clark's anguish.
I am glad to hear that. I was beginning to worry my portrayal of Clark would really turn everyone away considering all the comments about wanting to smack him, heh.

I just got caught up with this story, and I really like it!
Thank you! Welcome aboard!
I like seeing how Lois reacts to Clark early on when she doesn't perceive him as a threat, as he clearly doesn't have it all together.
Heh. Yeah, it's less that she needs to protect herself from him than it is that she needs to protect him from himself.
