Lucy was fun and I wonder if Perry knows something he shouldn't because he did leave some very interesting hints for Lois and Clark. And I'm not talking about the boyscouting...

You don’t mind if he wears a fire hat at the schools, do you?”
LOL! smile

“I’ll be there at two. And if you happen to be there at the same time as me, well, maybe we can walk around together.”
Nicely ambiguous! Could it be that Lois might have a teensy-weensy microcosmic attraction to Clark and she's trying not to let him know it?

I tried to be distant, knowing I had been far too familiar with her in the past as Superman, but I just couldn’t bring myself to snub her. As I moved to go, I saw a small smile on her face. I wasn’t doing a very good job of subduing her Superman crush at all.
Perry sees it, Clark wants it, Lois likes Superman...

Great story!

Thanks for the feedback. smile

Michael-- I enjoyed writing that bit with Lucy, heh. And as for Perry, well, he is a pretty smart guy....

Heh heh. I always loved that part of canon.

Iolanthe-- I admit the "stop, drop, and roll" bit and the fire hat were inspired by en episode of Frasier in which Eddie has a police hat on and demonstrates how to "stop, drop, and roll" heh.
