Hi,

Cute story. smile1

What a cute story, Marnie! This was a very clever and creative take on the revelation.

I admit I was wondering why Clark was so willing to swim and dive without his glasses -- was his thinking that his hairstyle alone (shaking it out as soon as he could) would prevent anyone from noticing? Obviously it worked, at least!

The way Lois put things together was interesting ... I had a feeling the red speedos would come into play, but didn't consider the blue of the pool. Very creative.

I also liked her "revenge" -- too funny! I was expecting her to let him stew a bit longer, maybe letting go in first and try to come up with an explanation, but your way gets them talking that much faster. smile

Very fun story!

Cute Marnie. What is a sally? where does that originate. Not an American term right? Laura

LOL, Marnie!

This was really cute <g> The collage idea was very creative, as was using the blue of the pool, and I liked how Lois realized one reason why his excuses were so lousy <g>

Wonderful, Marnie!

Funny and cute, a great revelation, and a lovely waffy heart to heart at the end. <snuffle>

What a great addition to my day! clap clap

Nicely written. smile

I believe there's a hero in all of us that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams. -- Aunt May, Spider-Man 2

Lots of fun! Made me laugh. I particularly liked

It was the combined effects of his invulnerable hide and the contemplative thinking that was his downfall. He never even noticed when his swim shorts caught on the nail and blithely walked on, but he definitely noticed the next thing that happened, if a tad belatedly.

A loud ripping sound, followed by a breeze on parts of him that were not supposed to be exposed to the public. The wind picked up with one of the strong gusts at that particular moment and was actually strong enough that it caught the light nylon scraps of fabric and kited them off into the sky.
I bet his mom warned him about daydreaming when he was a kid. Mine sure did. wink

Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

Lois: Well, I like my quirks. I think they make me unique.
Clark: You certainly are unique.

Clark: You're high maintenance, you know that?
Lois: But I'm worth it!
