Oh no! How can you let Lois marry Lex? I'm only hoping that she's doing it to get the inside scoop.

And this Clark... he really needs to be slapped upside the head. He's got the seriously crazy thinking.

Oh goodie. Lois marrying Lex, Clark and Lois both not having a clue. Delightful.

You had done such a 180 so quickly that my interest was lagging.

Now please give yourself more time that nine parts, or make them really long parts.

Hopefully Lois can marry Lex and have a nice Honeymoon somewhere and a year of two pass.

During that year or two Clark can investigate and discover Lex is evil mastermind behind everything bad in the world.

Think of the wedding pictures. Evilness aside, Lex does look good in a tux.

Ok, that was interesting. Clark is seriously crazy and beyond stupid huh - but I can, in some twisting and weird way, understand his thinking.

Now, Lois is not going to marry Lex, right? Or, maybe there will be a wedding, and with Clark standing next to Lex, Lois will realise that she can't go through with it and say ... "I don't".

I so did not expect the proposal, and acceptance of said proposal, to happen this quickly. How much time has passed since Clark has put on the suit? And since Clark started at the Planet?

You are not going to follow through with it, are you?

Thanks for feeding back, all.

Iolanthe-- You're absolutely right. Clark does have the "seriously crazy thinking."

Heh heh. Not the reaction I would have expected. smile

Sorry. blush I probably included too many ideas in this story--which is strange, as I usually don't have enough ideas. But I'll admit I've been worried about the variety of things I've included. I don't know if it's any consolation or not (probably not), but adding up chapters 26 through 34, I came up with about 33,000 words (the whole story totals up to about 120,000). So, that's how much before the story is over...

SJH-- LOL. Hahaha. There is always that...

DW-- Answers coming soon. smile

Michael-- I just now tried several times to count days/weeks on my outline to answer both your questions, but for some reason my brain is fried and stubbornly refuses to succeed at math. "Months" is all I can say at this point.

Sorry for not giving any feedback as yet, but I have been following and enjoying this story.

There have been a lot of 'different' takes on the characters as you've progressed your stories that at first glance didn't seem to make sense, but as the story moves along you have brought your gentle readers into this universe.

Lois accepting Lex's proposal has always been a sore point for me because I never saw Lois and Lex as a compatable couple, nor did I buy into the reasons generally provided for her capitulation.

Here we haven't been provided with any logical reason why Lois would have accepted Lex's advance. At least in the series they tried to use the destabilization of Lois' life and support structure as her reason to look for what she saw as a stable future.

I'm assuming as the story continues that we'll see some of Lois' reasoning since there has been no obvious changes in Lois' world going into her acceptance.

We have quite a bit left to go so I guess I'll just hop on board and ride it out. wink

Tank-- I'm glad my different "takes" have started to make more sense. I've definitely worried about many facets of the story, my uses of characters being one of those things.

As for Lois, you bring up a valid point. Even in the series, Lois is seriously considering Lex's proposal before the Planet explodes and everything falls apart, and we don't get much explanation of why she is considering it so seriously at that time, though we do get the explanation for why she accepts it due to circumstances with the Planet, Superman, Clark, and her friends.

As for my story in particular, I'll be sure to touch on Lois's particular reasons at the end of the story. This being a first-person fic, Clark isn't privy to her private thoughts, so it can't be earlier (what with the storyline going as it does). But I will have an explanation...If you had a problem with what the series does with Lex and Lois, then what I'll have may not be as solid as you would hope, but at least it will be there. smile And who knows-- maybe it will be even more solid than the series! (Hahaha. And maybe not. That isn't really for me to determine, I guess, heh. Fingers crossed, though.)
