Extra thanks go to Iolanthe, who had suggested that perhaps Holmes could discern Clark's uniqueness by having observed something Clark had not wished him to see. She also gave me the germ of the idea which grew into the explanation of how Holmes knew where to go to intercept Tempus. I had been coming up empty for any sort of ideas in those two critical areas.
I am very uncertain about the landlord's speech patterns. I had made a request for a BR from Great Britain, but received no takers. So I was on my own on it.
I would have liked to have seen Clark be more proactive in the discussions in Holmes' flat and in the search process, but he just wouldn't cooperate with me in that regard. (You all know how stubborn he can be when he wants to be.) Hopefully he made up for it in his rescue in this part.
cheers,
Lynn
