Thanks for all the great feedback so far, guys! I'm glad you're enjoying the ride! laugh

Reach for the moon, for even if you fail, you'll still land among the stars... and who knows? Maybe you'll meet Superman along the way. wink

Another great part! Can't wait for the grand finale! smile

I liked Clark's confusion over Lois calmly accepting his dental appointment excuse. (I wonder how many times a year he pulls that one! I'll bet a lot more than twice a year. And him with his perfect teeth.)

Yup. That's Perry all right -- he often knows (or at least suspects) a lot more than he lets on.

wait, back up. Did I just admit to myself that I love Clark. *Clark*>> she clarified to herself. <<Not Superman?>> Her internal monologue confirmed, <<Yep, Clark. You said it. Don't blame me.>>

Clark,a girl can be "nice" every now and then for... oh...just because. She need not be up to something. But then we are talking about Lois...

And besides, Clark/Superman was so moral and ethical, that if he did do anything a normal reporter couldn't, she imagined he'd do it sparingly.
Why do I think that if Lois had these powers, she'd be looking through doors at the drop of a hat? smile

"Thanks... I... didn't...no," he said, then suddenly skeptical. "Why are you being so nice, Lois?"

She was a little hurt at that. <<Am I really usually such a jerk?>>
It's rather sobering, isn't it, Lois? Maybe you really are such a jerk to him all the time and you didn't realize it till now.

Quote
<<Did she *know*??>> He suddenly thought, fighting the wave of panic. <<Lois would surely have skinned me alive this morning if she knew.>>
The trouble is, that's not something Clark can just ask Lois. "Hey, did you figure out I was Superman?" laugh

He'll just have to wonder what she knows.

loved it! I like Lois' taling to herself and realizing how amazing Clrk really is. Can't wait for the last part!

LOIS:I don't like you.
MAYSON: Really? Oh god, that is such a relief - I don't like you either.
LOIS: That makes me feel so much better

Sorry to be so late with the FDK. I'm enjoying this story.

Back in the FDK to part 2, Tank said this:

I always liked it when Lois knows but Clark doesn't know that she does. It gives us a chance to see her mind all awhirl with her conflicting feelings.
I have to agree. Although sometimes these situations lead to bad places, it always makes for an interesting twist.

I'm looking forward to part 4.

Bob
