The plot thickens - kind of like soup left on the stove too long.

Pwahaha. That made me laugh. laugh Batman's scariness level is definitely proportional to the number of gargoyles he can hang down from and around with.

His suddenly somber tone didn’t escape her. “So do I, Lois. So do I.”
This is very ominous. We're not going to have a Lois versus WW fight and a Superman versus Batman fight, are we??

That was so exciting to see Batman. I'm normally a one-superhero kind of girl, but I love how you've been using these different figures--WW, Batman, Catwoman...Kinda makes me wonder if you have anyone else up your sleeve. :p Considering there are only 15 parts, you probably can't have too much more up there, but if you do, I definitely won't be complaining!

I'm very interested in what will happen next!

I second DejaVu... I'm suddenly quite intrigued by the mix of superheros, though that usually isn't my style. And it does sound like you're hinting at a double whammy with a Superman vs Batman fight as well?!

I thought it interesting how Clark described Batman as larger than him. I always thought Superman would be bigger than Batman (isn't he in most comic books/cartoons??). Even though I prefer our Dean Cain-sized Superman over the too big incarnations sometimes seen on some cartoons. You know, I feel a little out of my depth here... I'm definitely not a comic book expert, so I'll stop here!

Enjoying the story so far!

Reach for the moon, for even if you fail, you'll still land among the stars... and who knows? Maybe you'll meet Superman along the way. wink

So...Lois does allow Clark a night's sleep every now and then?

Deja Vu, I like Batman too. But this is a Lois and Clark board, not a Bruce and Selina board. Although there is another hint of the quality of their relationship toward the end of the story. And I'm glad you liked the slightly saucy Catwoman. But no, there's no fight planned between Batman and Superman.

Mozartmaid, I described Batman that way because that's how I view him. He'd almost have to be a really big man both to take and to hand out the punishment involved in "apprehending" the costumed Rogues he deals with regularly. Still, I can't see him giving Superman much of a fight unless he has green K. (Which I wouldn't rule out, given that he's prepared for almost everything.)

SJH, everyone needs a solid eight hours once in a while. One of the things that always puzzles me is that the central characters in plays and movies and written stories never seem to need more than three hours of sleep per night. I've made myself sick several times in my life while trying to function off five hours per night for an extended period, so I have no idea how anyone in real life does it. And yes, I got your double entendre. It applies here, too.

Next chapter up very soon.
