Yes, we will, but it's been so long that I need a thorough review myself just to make sure I haven't missed anything that needs wrapping up. I don't want to feel like there's a huge disjoint between the first parts and the end. Plus, RL is crazy and I'm stalling/giving myself pressure to finish up. How about i promise to post faster once I've got the end finished? I'm probably half-way done with the last part. Happy

No problem. I took it as a compliment. I was afraid that I would bring this story back and nobody would care to read the end. Believe me, I'll take pressure over apathy any day.

Patience, patience. I want to get the end finished first in case I find that I have to go back and tweak something. OTOH, the OB just grounded me (read bed rest ), so I've got lots of time to write. I promise, as soon as I'm confident that I've got a satisfying end, it will be posted.

Ta da! Part 28 is up. Much thanks for everyone's patience, and for the prodding to let me know you were still interested. I bow in your collective general direction. Part 29 will go up Thursday or Friday. Now tell me what you think.

Yay to new parts!! I missed this story the first time around and went back and read it all at once when you started posting again. Silly me. Haha! Loved this part and how well Clark handled Ellen. Well done!

Awesome! I like how he talked to Ellen. I am glad he is getting rid of the hair Gel and it is nice that Perry wants him on the team. Lex is evil but hey what else is new. Laura

I'll second that... yay to the new part! I loved this part and Clark putting Ellen in her place and saying that both he and Lois are in it together for the long haul. Looking forward to the next part!

Loved the new part. Lex' evil plan will prove to be interesting, and I'm very much looking forward to see how it plays out. (After all, we don't know how or when he wants to employ the kryptonite.)
The scene in the restaurant was priceless! (Both for the entertainment factor and for Clark's wallet - but he doesn't have to worry about money, so I guess that's okay, too.)

/rubs hands at sight of new part/ For a moment there I was worried that you had tell Ellen on the phone and not show us the fallout. But no, we got an entire restaurant episode form Ellen's POV! And Lex, his plan is just about bound to twist everything together in one tight ball of craziness. And will Lois end up right in the middle of it, too? Michael

Another great part. You have Ellen's character down pat, as well as the new-family dynamics. (Ellen really does live down to the stereotype of the MIL.) It looks like things will be coming to a head soon with Lex Luthor; considering there are only three parts left, that's a good thing. And I'll second the request for a sequel! (Yes it's early; but why wait? Maybe if enough of us vote early and often, we can swing the election. ) Have you a posting schedule for the remaining parts? Joy, Lynn

Happy feedback dance Thank you, everyone. I'm glad to see I haven't lost my audience. Sorry my brain is too fuzzy today for more detailed feedback feedback. Part 29 tomorrow, then we'll finish it up next week.
