Hey, everyone, thanks so much for posting all your feedback--it's made me feel a lot more confident in my writing, I can tell you. I appreciate anything you can say about any part of it, and thanks for following the story.

Oh, I am so enjoying your story! More! More, please! smile1

I did notice perhaps a typo; when Jonathan is telling Clark about the kryptonite and getting ready to open the box, you have:
Quote
"...those federal taxes were giving him such a hard time..."
I know this episode almost by heart, and I am pretty sure that what he said was: "those federal types..." I think it makes more sense, and I did just rewatch that scene and "types" is certainly what I heard, although I don't have a copy of that script here to refer to. Hope that is helpful anyway. thumbsup

I'm enjoying Jonathan's insights that compliment the material we're already familar with. It's like reading the book to get more insight after watching the movie (if that makes sense).

I really liked this line:

Quote
Jonathan had felt only amused--and mildly relieved--that his son had finally found someone worth staying in one place for, but now he wondered if Lois really was worth it. Was she good enough for his son when she hadn't even paused long enough to notice that Clark was ill? Or did it not even matter to her?
How like a father to be protective. And...Lois does eventually notice.

I'm so glad you all like the story and kept reading. Home Is Where The Hurt Is has always been one of my favorite episodes--and hearing that my story fit so seamlessly with the episode that it was like reading the book is one of the greatest compliments! Thanks so much to all of you!
