Sane is overrated.
<chuckle> And 'normal' is just a dryer setting.

Well done!

Yet another lovely fleshed out episode bridge.

I especially liked this:

Quote
"That's so like you, Clark," she observes pleasantly, seemingly forgiving me for my exchange with Perry. "When everyone else sees the worst, you just see the best. I'm glad you didn't lose that."
How like Clark.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone!

I was hoping this wasn't too short to be enjoyed, so I'm delighted you all liked it.

Lynn, I had to laugh at your comment. I've never heard that before, but it certainly is true, isn't it?

And thanks, scifiJoan, for your comment. I think that's the core of who Clark is, and we all love him for it. smile

Thanks again for the encouragement!

Hi AntiKryptonite,

I wish I could take credit for the sentiment, but it is the title of a book by Patsy Clairmont. I believe that she in turn borrowed it from Barbara Johnson.

But as someone who is living anything but a "normal" life, I latched onto the saying the first time I heard it.

Regardless of who came up with it, Lynn, it fit very well here. Thanks for sharing.
