Missing Lois - TOC Thank you for all your comments. As always, this Part wouldn't be what it is without two wonderful people: Lynn and Iolanthe, my Beta Readers. Thank you. Just a note: I have bowed to peer (BR) pressure and spelled Sean McCarthy's name properly, despite it being misspelled in "Resurrection." (The funeral director spelled it Sean Mccarthy.) A thousand pardons to all us persnickety people out there. This week I typed the words THE END to my Missing Lois story. It's always hard to say good-bye to those characters who have become good friends. I'll post again in a few days.

Nice job, though I still hate that he is with Mason instead of his Lois. I am glad you saved her though. More soon. Laura

It seeems like this will be the undoing of a Mayson/Alt Clark relationship: But she didn’t like Superman at all, which was a problem. Oh my - guess I should have expected the ending of this chapter. Poor Alt-Clark can't seem to win. Joan

From what Lois told him, women didn’t like it when you lied to them Understatement of the century, Clark! Trust Mayson to sniff out the story on Lucy El... I wonder how many of her other boyfriends has she investigated? Did Mayson make it? Was she killed? I think my fear just came true... Pain de Chocolat - also Pain au Chocolat - essentially a Chocolate filled Croissant - A simple recipe Fair enough, but I lived in France almost two years and only recall pain au chocolat... Maybe 'de' is Canadian??
Reach for the moon, for even if you fail, you'll still land among the stars... and who knows? Maybe you'll meet Superman along the way.

“Oh, he asked that I not go flying. He’s worried I might fall and hurt the baby.” Huh. Reminds me of the dangers of driving in a train in a tunnel. The human body just can't deal with traveling at more than 20 mph in a tube. Pressure differences. Impossible to get air into lungs at such speeds... “You have a girlfriend?” Sam asked with a raised brow.
Clark glanced over his shoulder at the door with a sigh. “Apparently, that is up for debate.” should be a fun debate. /imagines highschool debate team debate/ “Well, on the positive side, you’re still sober. On the negative side, you answer the telephone,” she teased. “Dr. Jones.” “Ok.” He smiled. “One glass of juice, hold the shirt.” And he never said they were *her* parents either. “Sister-in-law,” Clark corrected her calmly. 90% true. “Lucy is married to my twin brother, Kal-El.” I just found a picture of the scene. See Mayson there on the left and Clark on the right? Not even a mirror image. “There are two of him,” he heard her mumble to herself and he smiled. /imagines Mayson trying to figure out how to ask Lucy to share her hubby for a fun night with Clark. “Are you much alike personality-wise?” Mayson asked. As a detective she was worried about a rogue Superman loose on her planet. No, actually, I'm thinking she's worried about Lois showing up and her Clark falling for her like Kal-El did for Lucy. “He had been looking for me. Then he met Lucy and, well, love is a good distraction. Eeeee 0% truth. And 100% truth.

“I’m so glad you told me this. Lucy is obviously some kind of con-artist.” Oh boy. He floated up and set her cell phone in the top most slot. He floated back down and stood in front of her with his arms crossed. Michael

Michael: Thank you for your comments. No, it's more of a general pattern with him. You mean Lois is bossy too? Nah. I did not see that coming. Is that one wrong? He's likely more slippery than Lex. Also, did he get at the Mentamide stash again? Nope. His IQ point go up with more and more exposure to Lois. “Sister-in-law,” Clark corrected her calmly. 90% true. From a certain point of view... /imagines Mayson trying to figure out how to ask Lucy to share her hubby for a fun night with Clark. Good luck with that one, Mayson. Lois doesn't have 'thou shall not kill' as her credo. No, actually, I'm thinking she's worried about Lois showing up and her Clark falling for her like Kal-El did for Lucy. Both are good guesses. Confession of love for other, *dead* woman to *live* girlfriend? Not good. And yet, it works. Women a sucker for the strong, sensative man. You're really throwing the complications in there, aren't you? Mayson got to second base, not Clark. Yep. She did the horror movie exit. It's a classic. Oh dear. Now, that's what you call a cliffhanger! Me likey cliffies.

Thank you for your [Laugh] comments. You're welcome. Glad I could entertain No. I just totally expected he'd spill all the beans. And his marbles, too. Nope. His IQ point go up with more and more exposure to Lois. Lois doesn't have 'thou shall not kill' as her credo. Does that mean Lois planted the bomb? Now there's a twist. And yet, it works. Women a sucker for the strong, sensative man. And yet, they will likely get mad when the dead woman turns up non-dead and same guy now actually courts said undead woman. Mayson got to second base, not Clark. True. But at that point in time, Clark was very close to finding satisfaction with Mayson. And where would that leave The Evil Stepmother (TM)? Serial Author.
