Oooooohhhh.

Lucy.

I must say, I didn't see that coming at all (though I probably should have). It completely slipped my mind that she worked at Daily Books now- and I think I might have just been in shock over the breakfast comment. Needless to say, I am relieved.

Also am relieved that the take-away from the conversation with Lucy was "grand gesture" and not "she married Superman because she can't kill him." Much better than I thought it would be. At first mention of Superman, I assumed Lucy figured it out, but this was more interesting. I like how Clark's slowly but surely gaining his memories back with little things (eating chips, standing over the balcony).

Wonder what Lois will say to the apartment- and I think that she might be disappointed yet again that his memories didn't return yet...

Great chapter! Can't wait for more! clap clap

Never having had amnesia myself, I imagine it isn't an all or nothing scenario (getting the memories back). In ASU they trickled back and I'm trying to show this in more detail. How did Clark know how Lois took her coffee? Was it an image or just a feeling? The chips scene is one of my favorites; I'm glad you enjoyed it too.

Michael: Still clap

Did you tell us the real story before?
Nope, some of this is new information.
But it might explain why she asked him point blank if he was gay or secretly married.

Quote
Aaaahmm… Paul had no integrity to begin with? And the marriage? Well… I wouldn’t say ‘kill’. More like walked past the grave?
I did mention that Lois is blind to men's faults, right?

Quote
How about the head of Paul? Or an interview as Superman with the Digger on how Linda King started to stalk him, corner him, strip for him and the only way he had of getting away, was burrowing through a hill?
Murder? Dishonesty? Yeah, don't think that's going to curry any favors with the general public. The wife, maybe, but not the GP.

Awwwwwwwwwwww… Life is just like a bag of chips?
I'm glad you liked this memory scene. It's one of my favorite.

Nope, he's naturally gallatically stupid.
